Each student will give a presentation in the last week of class. Graduate student presentations should be roughly 20 minutes and undergraduate presentations should be rougly 15 minutes. Your presentation must make use of slides and it must be accessible online. (That is, a white board talk or a iPad talk will not be acceptable.)
You are encouraged to run your project ideas by me in advance though you are not required to do so.
Open Problem / Topic Suggestions
Half of the points will be awarded for simply producing a presentation and giving it. The remainng points will be awarded based on the following four criteria: (1) correctness of presented mathematics (2) quality of the slide presentation (3) quality of the oral explanations /presentation (4) depth and/or substance of mathematics presented.
